Whilst our Supper Clubs focus on professional development, our Rush Events are designed to improve our personal skills. Typically that involves group discussions around topics like female friendships or creativity. This time, however, we decided to put our physical skills to the test and boost some confidence while we were at it!
Revolucion de Cuba are the Business Sorority's official bar partners, so naturally we spend a lot of time in there for meetings, lunch, and after-work drinks. We'd happened across Wednesday night's Salsa Disco a few times and knew it would be the perfect opportunity to get our girls up and dancing.
We started the night in Revolucion de Cuba's 'Havana Bar' - a private space downstairs usually occupied by 'celebs' or various other people who wish to not be disturbed (so naturally we felt very fancy which is quite nice every once in a while!). All the girls were given a drinks token on arrival for a drink of their choice, and we gave out the stickers for our now-becoming-a-classic 'ice-breaker' game. Each sticker contained a photo of one half of a famous dance couple - Sandy and Danny from Grease, Baby and Johnny from Dirty Danci
