November 21, 2018

When you're trying be the best that you can possibly be, you have a lot to do in a short space of time. We stress the importance of work/life balance and self care, but it's hard to get that in when there is so much to accomplish in a week.

So it's a bloody good job that we've got technology on our side, isn't it! We've put together a list of our favourite apps to help boost your productivity at work and at home, and the extra time you've saved can be put towards that well earned break.

Scannable by Evernote

Ugh. Scanners. They're either clunky ones that are built in to your printer at home, or they're in the copy room on the other side of the office. Ever find yourself not scanning that document right then because you don't want to waste time trailing over to the scanner? Or worse - being out of the office and getting a signed document, only to not be able to send it straight away and forgetting when you get back.

Scannable has changed our lives. Open up the app and take a photo of your page, and the app will turn it into a PDF. It doesn't look like a photo in PDF format, though. It looks like a real scan. It's easy then to either save your scan to Evernote, Google Drive, or any other app you may use, or email it. We've even scanned up to 150 pages with this.  Is it quicker than the industrial scanner in your office? Not when it comes to something bigger than 5 pages. Is it worth it? 1000% yes.

Scannable is free and available for
